Probate Paralegal- Camillus Location
As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in processing Probate and Estate Administration cases from start to finish. You will be meeting with clients, gathering asset and family information, drafting and filing necessary documents with the Courts, supervising the administration of assets, and performing other jobs necessary to conclude estates and administrations.
You will also draft appropriate documents for MHL Article 81 Guardianship proceedings, including Orders to Show Cause, complaints, final orders, and accountings.
You must have the ability to work independently, to manage your case load, and prepare weekly updates regarding case status. You will also be assisting with document review for estate planning clients, to help us deliver quality documents for clients.

Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research to support attorneys in probate and trust administration cases
- Review and edit documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney, under attorney supervision
- Manage and organize client files and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, and financial institutions to facilitate the administration of estates and trusts
- Assist attorneys in preparing for meetings, hearings, and court filings related to estate and trust matters
Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant administration experience
- Legal Experience
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Excel
- Familiarity with Clio Manage and Clio Grow helpful
- Driver’s license
Compensation
- $50,000.00-$55,000.00
